Loving God, Loving
Others and Serving the World
May this church be a place where God’s presence is visible and His Glory is known to all
A place full of God’s blessings, where His light will shine out to everyone and will illuminate all places.
Brief Winfield Church History
January 28, 2018
We - a small group of 50 people held
worship at the homes of the Christian members until July 2018.
In August 2018, we rented a temporary office place at 1123 Oak Ct.
Wheaton, IL 60187, where we worship God.
March 4, 2019
The Winfield Evangelical Church became a legal non-
for-profit church registered with the State of Illinois and the Federal
Government.
In the meantime, the congregation was looking for a building-
church where we can worship the Lord and stabilize the congregation for the long-term.
May 1, 2019
God has blessed us with this beautiful church.
On May 1, 2019 we finished
the paperwork and bought the church at 0N167 Page Street, Winfield, IL
60190.
August 4, 2019
The Winfield congregation moved into the new church for the first Sunday Service.
We entered the new place of worship with a
joyful heart, with tears streaming down worshipping God, singing and
praising His Holy Name.
After 6 months since acquiring the Church with the
help from our brothers and sisters here, The House of the Lord is renovated
and beautified.
